North Carolina Zoo

This zoo is a must visit for schools and families.  It is the world’s largest natural habitat zoo meaning visitors get to observe animals as they interact with nature. There is so much to see here including a carousel,  butterfly garden and a giraffe observation deck.

Charlotte Parks, Gardens, and Nature Experiences

There are several significant gardens including botanical gardens in the Charlotte area. There are also incredible outdoor and nature experiences in Charlotte.
