A brief history of the California Gold Rush.

The beginning of the gold rush was in 1848 with discovery in gold in the Sacramento area.  Within a years time, people from around the world learned of the gold that has been discovered.  This led to a frenzy with many people wanting to get rich.  By 1849, people from around the world started their journeys to California in searching for  gold.
